Subscription & Cancellation Policy

• Free — C$0. Browse federal tenders, create a business profile, and save up to 3 contracts at a time, with notes, checklists, deadlines and bid documents for those contracts. No payment details are required.
• Paid plans: none are currently offered.

Public Pro checkout is switched off while payments are being tested. Until it is announced on the pricing page, nothing on this page creates a charge.

• Pro is billed monthly in advance through Stripe, our payment processor, on a page hosted by Stripe.
• The subscription renews automatically each month at the then-current price until you cancel.
• Before you pay, checkout will show the price, billing period, any taxes, and the renewal terms, and you will be asked to confirm them.
• Price increases: we will email you at least 30 days before an increase takes effect. The notice states the new price and the date it starts. Your current price stays the same during the notice period, and you may cancel before the increase takes effect.

Advance notice for price changes: we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before any subscription price increase takes effect; the notice states the new price and its effective date; your current price does not change during the notice period; and you may cancel before the increase takes effect. We will also give any additional notice, and obtain any additional consent, that applicable Ontario or Canadian consumer-protection law requires. Rights and remedies that applicable Ontario or Canadian law requires take precedence over these standard terms.

When paid plans are offered, you will be able to use Manage subscription (it opens Stripe’s billing portal), or you can email support@contractintel.ca from your account address. You can cancel at any time and there is no cancellation fee.

If you choose immediate account deletion while you have an active Pro subscription, your Pro access ends immediately; it does not continue to the end of the billing period. Before deleting, you are clearly warned of this and must explicitly confirm (a one-time emailed code and typing DELETE). On deletion we cancel all future Stripe renewals and delete the personal data we are able to delete. No automatic partial-period refund is offered, except where applicable Ontario or Canadian law requires one. If you would rather keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, cancel your subscription instead (section 3) and delete your account afterwards.

• Cancelling stops future renewals. Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
• You will not be charged again after you cancel. Partial-month refunds are not provided automatically (see the Refund Policy).
• Afterwards your account returns to the Free plan. Your saved contracts, notes, checklists and files are kept.
• On the Free plan you can still view and edit what you already saved, but you cannot save another contract while you have 3 or more. Remove one to make room.

If an automatic renewal payment fails, your Pro access continues for 3 days from the date the renewal was due while Stripe retries the payment. If the payment is not completed within those 3 days, or the subscription is cancelled, Pro access ends (your saved contracts, notes and files are kept, but you cannot save more than the Free limit). The 3-day period applies only to renewals of an existing paid subscription, not to a first payment that fails. You can update your payment method in the billing portal.
